  • About the Paxtons Head

    The Paxtons Head is located alongside the south end of Hyde Park, on the main road towards Kensington. Set on 3 floors this Victorian pub was built in around 1632 and became the Paxtons Head in the 1850's. It has original oak panels, etched mirrors and glass in the first floor bar and is grade 2 listed. This is an iconic traditional London pub and is well worth the visit for the atmosphere.

    As a Taylor Walker pub, we are proud to offer freshly prepared British pub food and high quality drinks. With experienced and friendly staff, whether you are a cask ale fan, love a chilled glass of white wine or a freshly ground cup of coffee, we will serve you in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
