Welcome!

The Lamb and Flag in Marylebone is located on the forefront of the renowned restaurant area, St. Christopher’s Place. This Georgian listed building does not hide its beautiful heritage, as wood panelled walls line the interior, dating back to 1813.

Built in 1813 the building is Georgian listed which is evident when viewing the wood panelled interior. Situated only minutes from shopping meccas Oxford Street and Selfridges, the pub makes for a nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle of these areas. On the tourist map many landmark destinations are within walking distance including Hyde Park and the famed British Museum.

The Lamb and Flag name is not simply an arbitrary combination of names. Is in fact a religious symbol which goes back to the early centuries of Christianity. The Lamb is thought to refer to a passage in Jon 1:29 which reads ‘Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sins of the world. 'The Lamb and Flag has played host to the likes of Charles Dickens, who was a regular when working in Catherine Street.
